2013 Vintage

In 2013, Trail Marker picked up two incredible vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Legan Family Vineyard is a small, one acre lot of Chardonnay vines planted in 1980 and dry farmed ever since. Saveria Vineyard is set in calcareous and sandstone soils and sees beautiful morning and evening fog daily, producing brilliantly complex Pinot Noir.

Topping the offerings is Trail Marker's Manchester Ridge Chardonnay from the Manchester Ridge Vineyard, high up in the Mendocino Ridge. Our 2nd vintage with this fruit, the Manchester Ridge Chardonnay offers bracing acidity and minerality that Trail Marker wines are becoming known for.
